Whitest Kids U’ Know ‘MARS’ Animated Movie
The final project for the sketch comedy group ‘Whitest Kids U’ Know’ and animated feature film ‘MARS’. This was an amazing trip to get to character animate and composite alongside this team at Midnight Kids Studios. After we locked picture, we were nominated to screen at Tribeca Film Festival for the World Premiere in 2024. After screening well, the film had a limited theater release through Alamo Drafthouse around the US in over 14 cities, 40 theaters. There was also a physical release on Blue-Ray disk. For an animation style, this was meant to feel like it came from the golden age of internet animation in the early 2000s. Digital cut-out rigs were the base of the post-flash style and were all animated in After Effects.
